As we saw in Part One… so far the first Weber Smokey Mountain smoke has been pretty uneventful.

Things started out easy enough. Simple three page newspaper roll into the bottom of the chimney. Lit well and took a good 20 minutes to ash over. It seemed like a long time but it did give me the chance to take care of some other things. I honestly believe that this early in the process – Nicole had her doubts. I imagine she suspected the very real possibility of having to save dinner by whiping out a quick dinner after I mess this up and the chicken is ruined. Not that I blame her. Sometimes, trying new things doesn’t always turn out exactly how I plan it. But not this day… this day would be different.

So last week my phone took a massive dump on me. It stopped responding all together and spent most of the weekend as nothin more than a paperweight in my pocket. Come Monday, i decide to head over to the Sprint store convinced I’d have to shell out dough.

I’m going to try to see if I can file my local tazes online through the worse interface i’ve seen in a while. it reeks of developer. no design at all.
pity though… it could be really engaging.

A new change in direction perhaps. Is the wind blowing? I think so.

So work is a little hectic lately – which doesn’t leave a lot of time nor energy for this site.

Camden says… Daddy is tired.

It only took 36 hours, but we’ve managed to at least get back on our feet here. Switched hosts and forgot some stuff. Left behind the unnecessary. And came out with a fast experience all around.

I’ve been coding for almost 18 hours now… but I’m too excited with this new host. Things should really start to get moving here. Be sure to check out all the Beer reviews and recipes we have here @ nicoleandgreg.net
